Cooking can help young kids learn new skills and help enhance basic skills in areas like maths, for example. Creating meals helps build children’s self-confidence and can lay the foundation for how your child eats, both now and in the future. food.social is launching a new exciting program called ‘ Kids teaching kids’  which will bring kids into the kitchen together with other kids virtually on zoom to learn how to cook.

The Kids will have fun counting and cracking eggs, adding ingredients, mixing and watching their items rise in the oven, while enjoying the sense of togetherness, joy and happiness that a community cooking class can bring. They will also have the satisfaction of preparing yummy goodies for their parents. The Kids teaching kids: Cookie baking class will be hosted by Alexis Hill, a junior home baker.
